No way to disengage annoying beeper, door wont stay open but will put something under right side to correct, very short cord so may have to lower shelf on cart so it is not as taunt, but that is going to make the microwave too low. Dont have enough counter space to put it on.

This is my second microwave within 3 months. When using the first microwave for first time, steam and fog got in between glass panels on door but kept it bc returning it would have been major hassle (it was a gift, receipt issues, could not return to a store bc it was over 30 days from purchase date) . It worked great but then 3 months later it completely died. Out of the blue. THEN I had to go through longggg process of getting a replacement. I decided to go with GE again. Loved the size, features and it fit perfectly AND the price was excellent compared to other large counter top microwaves. Still waiting for reimbursement check from GE (3 weeks now). Snail mail everything. But still love this microwave and would recommend GE forever. Customer service is over the top and they stand by their products. I've been a homeowner with GE appliances for over 40 years. you can't go wrong.

I has to replace this microwave after 19 months in service because the door latch was defective-- and the turntable, fan, and light continued to operate with the door open. I did like the features and size on this product- just wish the door latch had continued to function as well as the rest of the product.

We purchased this model to replace a slightly larger but nearly identical GE that lasted us for 16 years without a problem, until the door sensor began to fail. It's a great value for the price.

Like others have said it worked great if you don't try to heat anything longer than 4 minutes. Just bought it and was heating something for 5 minutes and with 20 seconds to go it just totally shuts off. unplug it and plug it back in nada. About 10 minutes late plug it back in and it will work again. Seems really quiet like the fan isn't working. Have had it home all of 4 hours. Taking it back tomorrow and will not be buying another GE microwave...probably ever.

This was a replacement buy, and last option to purchase( not too many all white micro.'s in our area). Have had for a month, and quite pleased. Heats up pretty quick, don't do much cooking in it, but believe if did, it would do great job.

Easy to use and spacious enough for full size dishes. Only cons....icons are smaller which makes it harder to read and when you shut the door it is a bit loud. Works well so far.

The cooking time is perfect, but it's noisier than any microwave I have ever owned. I thought it was the plate not sitting right but that all checks out, it just makes a random grinding noise at times. Annoying but since the food is fine not annoying enough to replace it.

Nice design, big enough to cook in rather than just reheat, fits our built in space perfectly. We replaced a GE microwave we bought in 2003. It still worked great but the door was having trouble opening with the button. We figured we'd just get a new one after 18 years!

This is our fourth GE microwave over a 25 year period. We have been well satisfied with these products, but find this newest one has a very dim bulb to the point that you cannot see into the oven when it is working so you can't see how the cooking is progressing. Also the digital readout is dimmer. We used to be able to read the clock across the room but no longer can.

We had problems with this from the beginning. For 3 months wondered what was wrong and finally it just wouldnt start. Had to go thru GE to send us a voucher. Hopefully it will all work out in the end. They don't reimburse taxes though. Everyone tells me all microwaves are not built very good. So we will probably buy the same one again and hope that we get a better one.

I love our new microwave. We replaced an over the stove unit with a countertop unit. The over the stove unit was to high to be safe. This counter top unit is larger and more powerful. I love everything about it.

Electrical plug is bulky and does not allow the microwave to push back against the wall. The led display is dim - do not have the ability to adjust the display brightness.

This microwave was ideal in wattage and capacity for our large family. Features I use most often include the defrost and the vegetable button which allows me to choose between canned, fresh, or frozen. We also enjoy the Add 30 sec. button for convenience. Only complaint I have is that after only using about 3 months the clear covering over the touch select buttons is beginning to bubble. Also, in design I would prefer not to have such a dark window, nor the large GE emblem offset at the bottom of the microwave's front. Lighting inside the microwave is also a bit dim. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase.

Overall the unit is a good buy. Wish they had used a more powerful bulb to illuminate the cooking area when it was in operation/. My older model was much brighter! Also, a backlit control panel would be helpful. Finally, the clock numerals are dim compared to other brands.
